No lights on router or connection

I spend an hour on the live chat earlier trying to resolve a sudden loss of internet connection (flashing amber light). The router now appears to have lost power completely and has no lights at all. There are no issues with the power connection / wires. I work from home so urgently need the issue to be rectified. I am currently without internet.

The router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.
Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

Hi Debbie, yes please I think it is most likely a router problem as it has no lights on at all now.

Hi yes it has a test socket, we tested it yesterday via the chat function. I don't have a home phone or an alternative router.

Good morning,
I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on your line now which has detected a possible issue towards the property. Is the voice service working and do you have a dial tone? Does your main socket have a test socket? Do you also have an alternative router that you can test with?
