Thanks for clarifying the issue.
It's wifi rather than hardware (sometimes the bracket to stand it up snaps).
If it's wifi reach rather than dropping altogether, it might be interference coming from somewhere that didn't use to happen. My colleague, @KeithFrench may be able to help you with that meanwhile.

The WiFi range has recently significantly reduced. I have had an independent WiFi specialist out to troubleshoot every fix possible but with no luck and was advised that the router itself needs to be replaced. The WiFi can’t reach half of the space it used to so I need it fixed urgently in order to work. Please just let me know how I can order a new box.
