Hi I've enjoyed an excellent, for my area, rock solid service. No disconnections, no drop outs, nothing bad at all. This obviously upset DLM and it started tweaking 3 or 4 days ago, nett result 20% reduction in speeds.

I'm  going for a 30 minute reboot later today and hopefully this will get everything back to normal.

Why can't rural Norfolk have fibre?

The Interference on the line is still being detected. I think this may be preventing DLM from increasing the speed.

 

Do you use cordless phone?

Morning all i hope you had a good weekend. No discernible change here, not a lot more we can do I suspect, other than the regular observed interference.

That's a new one @Debbie-TalkTalk ! In the same room are the deco 9 wired mesh and the samknows wired device. Also an Alexa dot which I've now moved to a different location. Be interesting to see if that improves things.

I've had a look at the connection stats again and I can see that the sync speed is the same.

 

This has been detected - Regular Interference Observed Daily.

 

Is your router located near to any devices that could cause any interference?

Ahh no she's ok 🙂

 

We can see that the sync speed is starting to increase. Please can you leave the router powered up and I can check the connection stats again tomorrow?

Hi @Michelle-TalkTalk well that has shown no improvement. I'd be grateful if you could have  a look, but I'm not optimistic (not doubting your abilities)
