Hi there tech IT geeky guys & gals!
This is one of the most baffling queries you will ever encounter... I promise!!!
So... two ethernet ports on an eero Pro 6 router? How the hell did I have my TV, NVIDIA SHIELD TV Box & Router connected via ethernet???
I'm not kidding you... please tell me how? Is there another connection from the modem?
Also... lack of support via telephone has turned me right off! MY SERVICE... OUT OF ORDER!!! MY TalkTalk... OUT OF ORDER!!!
Absolutely unacceptable!!!
Pffffft...

Hi BIG_Jay
Easy answer.
The fibre optic ONT bringing the broadband connection to your home is connected to one of the two 1Gbps Ethernet ports on the gateway eero Pro 6.
Your 4K Android TV Box is connected to the other 1Gbps Ethernet port.
Your 4K Android TV Box is connected to your 4K TV using HDMI to specification 1.4b or later. HDMI 1.4b incorporates an Ethernet channel. One of the benefits of the HDMI 1.4b specification is that the broadband connection can be shared between HDMI 1.4b connected devices without the need for additional Ethernet cables.
As your broadband connection is the top (currently) 900Mbps (1Gbps product) then you'll also have an additional eero Pro 6. This eero has a 5GHz Wi-Fi backhaul channel to the gateway eero but also gives you 2 additional 1Gbps Ethernet ports for device connectivity.
