I have frequent problems with my connection speed.I am a fair way from my nearest exchage on copper wires due to rural location.It seems that a period of slow connectivity really messes my connection up.Have been talking to support about 8 times and even had an engineer out once or twice.It seems to kick off when my son, who is a keen gamer,coonects to the roblox servers.Then the ping starts increasing and fluctuating eventually causing disconnects.Often a router reboot helps for a bit but not always.Doesn`t seem to be any other servers to use and not sure roblox will help.Any ideas or similar experiences anyone ?

Haven`t tried the new router in the test socket.Its a mk4 5c, do I take face plate off, and plug router in ?
The phone goes into a different socket can I eave that alone ?
But yes happy to have engineer come

on an ethernet cable 7.8 if roblox is running , 20 if its not !

Line test is passing, sync speed is 22.2Mbps. Error count has been fine over the last few days but I can only see up to around 4am today currently
Could you switch your router off and leave it off for at least 30 minutes, then switch back on and monitor to see there's any improvement

Ok, as the new router has been connected for a few days we will continue to monitor the connection stats as it can take a few days for DLM to stabilise and make changes to the speed and stability. We'll re-check in the morning and will post an update.

No it doesn`t affect mine ,he may notice a little bit of lag when it is at its worst.Are you seeing the number of disconnects my connection monitor shows ?

Yes , the latency is stable until he starts connects to roblox.I think it usually settles again once he is off it.

Here is my sons connection log over the past few months as recorded by google chrome.He is on an ethernet cable to the modem,I have the same extension on my pc and the 2 logs don`t always match up so I am unsure of its validity . .The new modem was installed on 30/6/23 about 10am. Do you keep some sort of record of my connection ?
