My speed check showed I am getting less than half the speed I am guaranteed and that there is a fault on the line between my house and Talk Talk . But how do I know if it is being fixed or even investigated?

Speeds are very low. Fibre test is clear however line tests are showing an issue. Check the home phone, do you have a clear dial tone or noise on the line ?
