Ask us about your TalkTalk email account and Webmail.

Hi,
I received an email on Monday telling me that from Tuesday, I would no longer be able to access my email because I am using unencrypted settings . Apparently I had already been advised of this recently which is news to me!
My other 4 email addresses are still working fine, just typically the one I use the most, has been restricted to webmail from today!
As far as I know all my settings are correct and up to date, but with 4 devices, I guess one might be wrong! Is it because I'm using the pipex server? Or I think, one device is still using POP.
Can anyone help me get access back please?
Thank you, Carl.

The most recent notification from TalkTalk was the action of last resort withdrawal of device access because there was still one or more connections being made to that mailbox using insecure settings.
You can use a mix of devices some on IMAP and some on POP3 with the additional setting of 'Never delete from the server' to make sure that Inbox messages can be picked up by the IMAP devices that would effectively control what's stored in the mailbox folders.
You shouldn't be using the pipex server host name. All TalkTalk Consumer Mail domains use the talktalk.net host server domain name. I'll put the general guide below.
What devices are you using?
Device type, Operating system and version, Mail Software and version. Also any other methods of mail collection like Gmail POP3 mail collection, other collection services, other software?
