Fibre 150 slow

Hi New here. Appreciate any help.

Since my Fibre 150 was installed by the engineer I have not had more than 50/30 speed.

I have tried a connection test & all it says is a fault has been detected & we are looking into it & nothing happens. Wishing I'd never bothered.

Morning,

Would it be possible to test with the powerline adapter removed just to see how the speeds compare and to rule this out?

Thanks

Hi AJP_05,

Can you switch the eero off and leave it off for a couple of minutes, then switch back on and retest

Thanks

Hi Michelle.

Test direct to ONT was 152/29 but using the same cable (Supplied with Eero) attached to the Eero it drops to 50/22.

I changed the cable to the Eero for another Cat 6 & it jumped to 89/29?

Morning,

Thanks for trying this. If the speeds are ok at the ONT then we can focus on the speeds at the eero. How far is the eero from the ONT and also your devices when the speeds drop? I've also included a Help Guide below.

Slow speeds on your eero network - TalkTalk Help & Support

Thanks

@AJP_05, start a thread to check that bill in the billing section of the forum.

It should be clear in the details of the bill what that supposedly covers!

Hello,

Thanks for confirming. Can I just confirm, if you remove the eero and run a speed test directly at the ONT, what speeds do you then see?

Thanks

Hi Michelle thanks for reply.

I don't have a router or landline any longer I am on Eero 6.

Have just run another speed test & it's the same as before.

I had a message from TalkTalk saying line test is complete & to contact Tech if it has not improved.

Also have been charged £110.00 for April & May for a £29 a month contract?

Cheers Alan

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which is clear. Can I just confirm, what speeds do you see if you run a speed test directly at the ONT with the router removed from the line?

Thanks
