Why am I being charged for Fibre 65 when I do not have fibre to my house
Monday - last edited Monday
There are two Fibre65 products.
There is fibre to the cabinet, which will still be copper to the house.
If it still comes in via the BT mastersocket, and you can still use your traditional phone landline, you are on FTTC.
Fibre to the premises would involve a fancy new box on a wall in your house, new cabling direct to the house and your landline would have to have been set up as a VOIP service with the order.
If you haven't got that, you are on the older Fibre65 type, and it's no different to what Talktalk would have sold several years ago as a Faster Fibre package plus speed boost.
