Just logged into my router and I have always had 40mbps download and 10mbps upload, now my router is saying 38.7 upload and 10 download, has TalkTalk reduced my speed?

Hello,

I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault. Is there any noise on the voice service?

Thanks

TT do not reduce speeds, however the equipment in the fibre cabinet can recognise errors and disconnections on your line and reduce speed for the sake of stability.

Have you had any storms or electrical supply issues causing the router to reboot ?

You should check that your phone line is working normally without any extraneous noises as phone faults can cause broadband issues as they (obviously) use the same line.
