Just had my new eero6 router installed and now my devices in the garden connected via hardwiring don’t work. They worked perfectly before. Do I need to do anything to liven up the Ethernet port or carry out any configuration?
Any suggestions much appreciated.

Do you have any devices that connect wired to the eero ok? Which devices won't connect?

I have tried to connect the device both via the switch and direct, both without success.

Is this going via your own data switch? In the Eero app can you see any of those devices connected? What happens if you just try one device, with a new Ethernet cable connected directly to the Eero?
