New Router Not Arrived

Hi

My router has been broken since 7th January. The tech rep I was chatting with then was supposed to have ordered a new one. 2-3 days delivery. It’s not arrived. I’ve chased it twice. I was told Monday it would be with me by today and that I would get tracking numbers etc. So far I’ve had nothing. Can someone please check for me what is actually happening?

Thanks Chris. I’ve had an email from Royal Mail this morning to say that the delivery is in hand.

I'm sorry about  the delay, there's a note saying that another router has been ordered but no indication that one has been sent yet so I've ordered one myself. It should be with you within a couple of working days. Apologies again for the delay

It's easier for customer support issues to use a Talktalk issued router, @AllyM.

Gliwmaeden2, a fellow customer.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.

Why would you want a TalkTalk router anyway?

I always use my own router rather than an ISP supplied one.

Nothing.
I chatted to two agents for over an hour last Friday. For the third time I was told a router would be with me in 2-3 working days and I would be getting a tracking number very soon. I’ve had nothing. Again. It’s now two weeks and Talk Talk can’t supply a router. Something is wrong with Talk Talk’s processes.
I’ve given up and bought a router from EBay. It was delivered three days from the order date . Talk Talk can’t do this for some unknown reason. But anyway, I should not have to source my own router from an EBay trader.
I’ve been a customer for over ten years. My contract expires in April and at the moment it’s very doubtful that I’ll be renewing.

Hi Snodgrass61,

There is a note saying that the router has been ordered. If you don't hear anything over the weekend can you bump the thread on Monday and we'll check again
