I’ve had no service since the beginning of the week openereach have taken forever to come out and now they are saying they won’t fix it. I also received a text saying I would be charged £75 for a missed appointment even though he was here half an hour

Hi

The Openreach engineer notes advise that you have scaffolding around your property.  Your service was fed via an overhead cable down an electrical pole that has since been removed, breaking the cable.  As this was not a fault and was purposely done within the boundary of your property, you will be liable for the engineer call out charge.

Openreach have advised that they can return and fit a new drop wire to the property when the scaffolding has been removed and is then safe for them to proceed.  Openreach have advised that they have made you aware of these issues.

Thanks

Karl.
