Replacement router

Hi there 

my router is to old, had an issue about a week ago and an engineer attended and fixed the issue but he suggested that I should contact Talktalk to replace my router because it’s to old and affecting the broadband speed. 
can I ask you if I can get a replacement for my router please ? And is it chargeable or free ?
