Like in the topic , I'm looking for guidance on how to block external access to my Router Settings or if its possible to change the Port number for Settings Web Page itself from 80 to 85.
I'm trying to host a website but currently simple routing for my domain  takes me straight away to Routers Settings.
I'm currently Huawei DG8041W , tried to find it in advance router setting but failed , asked for guide via Talk Talk chat but have been send information on how to Port Forward...

Thanks in Advance

That’s great thanks for that information 😉

I was wondering how this will work without one 😉

What I mean , do I need a modem that will be connected to fiber and then that will be connected to Eero router where the second router will be connected to first one via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

When your service is installed the engineer will install a box (ONT) in your home, one of the eero's will plug into the ONT

I have just received two mesh routers Eero pro 6 but both of them are routers , shouldn’t there be a third device allowing to connect fiber to it ?

Hi dev2kingdom,

If you are upgrading to Future FIbre 900 then you'll be supplied with an Eero - Future of Home Wi-Fi | Eero 6 | TalkTalk

Hi Karl I have just updated my account settings, meanwhile I have upgraded my contract to Full Fiber 900 mb/s.
Im wondering how they going to connect fiber to that old router where it have no fiber port at all.

I have no idea what routing you have set up on your domain.

The GUI can only be accessed from the router's local wired or wireless connections. It does however support NAT loopback on some ports, which is contrary to all other TalkTalk routers. You cannot change its port, but I would suggest that you change the admin password to something a lot stronger. In addition to this, you should also change your wireless password to something much stronger as well.

You cannot forward TCP ports 80 & 443 with this router, as it comes up with an error of:-

The configured port conflicts with the internal service port

I would suggest that you ask TalkTalk by replying to my post to swap your router for the similarly specified Sagemcom FAST 5364, which I think is a much better router anyway. It does allow these ports to be forwarded OK.
