Router frequently disconnects

Hi,
I have had a problem for the last few months regarding my router randomly disconnecting. It can happen multiple times within a few hours but then not happen for a few days.
It can happen anytime of the day or night ( we have a Ring alarm and get notified of every disconnection).
We have done several resets ( left off for over 20 mins) but they have made no difference.
We have no other router to swap it with.
I would be grateful of any suggestions
Thanks

Hi,
I changed the router on Saturday afternoon and have had no issues with it so far. It appears to have sorted the problem.
I will get the old router returned next week.
Thank you
Jane

Hi @Slothmum
No problem 🙂
The router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.
Let us know how the connection compares with this router.
Thanks
Debbie

Hi @Slothmum
Thanks for your reply. Would you like me to send a replacement router for testing so we can rule this out?

Hi,
We don't have anything connected wired, only wireless. We don't have the router close enough to anything. I have done multiple line tests over the last few months that have shown no faults and the router only disconnects for up to a minute at a time, so that doesn't leave me long enough to do a line test at the time.
When it disconnects the router light flashes orange and some of the wireless connected devices can take a long time to reconnect
Thanks

Hi Slothmum
I'm sorry to hear this.
The line test is clear - No faults detected.
Can I just check, are wired connections also dropping or only wireless?
