Hello all,

I am looking for a good WIFI extender device for connecting to my TalkTalk WiFi Hub with standard fibre 65 to boost the signal, both inside the house, and outside in the garden.

Can you use any WiFi extender/booster on the market with the TalkTalk WIFI Hub or do you need to use a particular brand and model?

Hi @Xpander43

No, Total WiFi is for FullFibre and is eero Pro 6s, not Sagemcom's and therefore is not available for your package.

Let me make some enquiries and I will come back to you. However, the person I need to talk to at TalkTalk will not be in until tomorrow.

Hi @KeithFrench,

I rang TalkTalk on the number you provided. They no longer sell the Sagemcom WiFi booster. But they do sell something called TalkTalk TotalWifi which is £8 per month, non negotiable. This is three devices to boost signal and speed around the home. I have left it for now.

Thanks for this information. I will get in touch with the loyalty department to see what price I can get it for.

Hi @Xpander43

In that case, the Sagemcom FAST266 WiFi Booster is what you want. When combined with the WiFi Hub, it forms a mesh network, allowing WiFi 6 connections to it. You would need to contact the loyalty dept (0345 1725157) to negotiate a price, if you want one.

Hello,

The one we have is a Sagemcom TalkTalk Wi-fi Hub router (navy blue in colour with a single central status led indicator).

Hi @Xpander43

Which make/model of WiFi Hub do you have, as there is a very good WiFi 6 compatible one for the Sagemcom WiFi hubs.
