Wrong Full Fibre Package Sent

Hi,

 

I phoned TT and ordered a full fibre package with a 4K TV box and VOIP. But TT delivered the wrong equipment.

 

The engineer connected the router by a very short cable, for some reason, which left the router dangling so that it was difficult joining it up to the other bits of hardware. But I assembled the kit so that everything seemed to be working. But I noticed that I could not get my TV to work.

 

I had a series of online "chat" sessions but they gave me differing "advice" and one person calling himself Charles just strung me along for 75 minutes. He started off by saying that he would definitely get my TV synced with the rest of the package. Then he kept saying irrelevant and contradictory things, but as he was promoting himself as an expert I just assumed he knew what he was doing. After over an hour of this I asked him what had he actually been doing for the past 75 minutes, and he just terminated the chat session!

 

I have been told by my "case manager" Angeliki that if I wanted the VOIP addition then I could not just order the VOIP and add it to my existing setup. Instead, I would have to close my present account and then order another package. 

 

Is this true? I cannot believe that I would have to do that.

 

My case manager now does not reply to my emails so no point in asking her.

 

I have asked her if I close the present account and order another one how long will I be without any broadband, phone calls or any connection with the outside world? I need to know how long I would have to spend in complete isolation and she refuses to tell me.

 

Is she even giving me the right information? Is she stringing me along like "Charles" on the chat?

 

Does anyone at TT know what they are talking about?
