This video takes you through the connection and setting up the app it may help you explain where the app is failing on your set up -
Ignore the part where she sets up extra eeros's and the extra box etc.

Hi Chris, I’ve taken everything out of the old openreach box, coupled the eero to the lan and tried set up again and all I get is the pictures, the registering just goes round and round then the error message

Just to confirm, with the old router connected just to the ONT (and not connected to the telephone socket) the internet connection is fine?

It is connected straight to the ont with the Ethernet cable provided, when I follow the Amazon eero app it is not connecting to WiFi it’s staying on 5g and then keeps telling me it has encountered a problem
ive been trying for 2 weeks now and have complaints in with no response for 8 days now when they said it would be 3, I was also promised the latest talk talk tv hub but that is still to be seen, instead I received 2 new eero
please help!

Thanks. Connection looks OK with the Sagemcom, so just to confirm, you are connecting the eero directly to the ONT with an Ethernet cable and not connecting it to the old telephone socket?

Hi Julieab,
The old router should have just been connected to the ONT, not the telephone socket too. Can you please update your community profile to include your:
- Name
- Telephone number
- Alternative contact number
We'll then look into this further. Please do not post this information on this thread. Once you've updated your profile please post in your topic to confirm it's updated.
Thanks
Chris

Morning,
I'm sorry to hear this. Just to confirm, are you connecting the eero to the ONT?

What have you got still connected to the old BT socket and why? The eero should connect directly to the new box (ONT) using an ethernet cable.
