I am moving house on 19th April 2025. How do I get TalkTalk to move the service to the new house? This Web Page

gives this error

 

We're unable to progress with your home move request
Important notice
Unfortunately we cannot process your home move online, please contact our home move team on 0800 542 8081 to transfer your current TalkTalk services to your new home.

 

The error refers to a Phone Number which is out of service.

 

Please help!

You'd normally follow advice from this page, @JoeBloggs3:

See if that works, or phone 03451 720088 [closes 7pm] or use Chat [closes 9pm] and ask for the Home Move team. 

 

There are some situations where Talktalk doesn't have a service available at a new address. But it might just be a technical glitch. 

 

You are very late booking this, however, so you might be without broadband for a few weeks. 

 

If that's the case, speak to them about preventing calls going out on your old address.

 

If you take up the offer of a new contract when you move, you save yourself the £60 Home Move fee, but it's only worth it if you know you'll be staying in the new place for the duration of the new contract. So lots to discuss with them, and, as I say, you have left this too late to be set up on Saturday  - it's also a Bank Holiday weekend, with Easter.
