Greetings hive. I am moving home and will need my modem moved. How do I go about this please. I’ve tried to ask the bot and I think she wants to move my whole house 🤭 OR do I change providers?

Hi @DaisyMay62 , thank you for reaching out to us. There is no need to change providers, we have a Home Move team, and they can help arrange a Home Move for you where you can move to another address along with your TalkTalk services. Please let me know if you have contacted this team or if you need more information about them including their contact details.

You take the router (probably Sagemcom) with you which is already mobile - just needs to be packed up with accompanying cables and power plug.
You don't touch anything that's physically fixed to the house:

So if you are talking about moving the ONT, don't touch it any more than you would take the old BT /OPENREACH mastersocket with you. They have to be left in place as part of the infrastructure supply to that house.
Are you using the Home Move team for this move?
