I received a text message from Open reach / talk talk saying I was being switched over to full fibre and an open reach engineer will have to visit my address on a set day/time and it asked me to text back with CONFIRM if it was ok.
I texted CONFIRM but it went undelivered, tried it a few more times but no luck. Any idea why this is and who to contact please?

Best option would be to call the loyalty team on 03451720088 , ask to be transferred to the full fibre team they will be able to help.

There are lots of other ISPs that basically resell openreach packages E.g., Zen (who I use). BT and openreach are a bit more intermingled than other ISPs, but any openreach-based ISP can do what you need
