I've had to recently restart/reset the router several times, but in doing so, optimization mode has been reenabled. I don't think the router can handle optimization mode properly. Can I please have it disabled again?
Will disabling Wi-fi 'Bandsteering & Roaming' achieve the same result?

Hello,
I'm sorry to hear this. Would you like us to switch this off again?
Thanks

I've just restarted the router, NOT reset to factory settings, but the router still chose to set its own wireless channels. So it looks like I should try to avoid restarting the the router. Besides, for many other settings the router gets very confused when something is changed, and blanks out what should be on the screen.
Sometimes, it throws its toys out of the pram, and closes the user's web interface, for no reason. Not very stable router.
When the web interface is restarted, everything is OK. Very inconvenient.

The router was reset/restarted several times yesterday. It's running normally since then, and has been continually on since then.

Hi Bill
Sorry for the delay. Is your router currently switched off?
