Hi, I have closed my mother's account and wondering how I send the router back.

If it's connected with her account, you'll need to put her address details in the Private Notes section of Personal Information.
Are you a Talktalk customer in your own right? Staff just need to be very clear which account is relevant as a tracking code will link the returns bag to the particular customer's account etc.
They can then keep track of exactly who has or hasn't returned specific equipment, @Annemarie18?.
So go via your avatar; settings; drop down menu. Your own details go in Personal Information and your mother's in Private Notes. Scroll down to find the button to SAVE CHANGES.
Staff can easily send out a returns bag to the address you specify in Private Notes.
