Substituting supplied TalkTalk Eero 6 router

I have recently tried to swap out the supplied TalkTalk Eero 6 router with my own Eero Pro 6E router. This was not successful, despite following the Eero app  procedure.

Am I missing something here, or is it a case that the router has to be pre-registered with TalkTalk first?

Thank you all for your support and quick replies. I ended up doing a hard reset of the routers and deleted the network from the Eero app. I then recreated the network and added the Eero Pro 6E as the gateway. After running a speed test, I then added the Eero 6 and Eero 6 extender.

All works fine now and I have much better coverage throughout the house.
