just received email from talktalk saying they are upgrading me to FTTP (further email and SMS to follow)    I DO NOT WANT THIS UPGRADE NEVER REQUESTED IT SO PLESE INFORM FTTP DEPT AND CITY FIBRE TO CANCEL THIS FTTP UGRADE   thanks

No  and from other members say there are also no means of replying or stopping in the following email and SMS to come  that's why I want a staff member to get this cancellation passed on and confirmed to me it has been done .     thank you

@paja32, were there any options to reply to the email to that effect?

 

The switch over is going to happen anyway as the copper-based service will be withdrawn. 

 

It's the policy for all of our futures unless you wish to keep out of the internet loop altogether. Landline phone services are thereby also withdrawn, so you either have to use a phone with VOIP or simply make do with a mobile. 

 

Not nice having this pressure on our choices, and it should happen at a time that is convenient for you. 

 

The trouble is that, if you don't go with the offer, you might find that getting it at a time of your choosing is much more expensive.
