Hi,
I am currently on a Fibre package and will be moving to a new home on 28th March. I tried using the "Moving Home" option on my account, which directed me to a page asking for my new address and move-in date. However, after entering the details, I received the following message:
"Unfortunately, we cannot process your home move online. Please contact our home move team on 0800 542 8081 to transfer your current TalkTalk services to your new home."
I called the number provided but was placed on hold for a long time without being able to get through. I simply want to transfer my internet service to my new home smoothly and ensure that I have a hassle-free connection from day one.
Could someone from the TalkTalk team assist me with this process or advise on the best way to proceed? I am reaching out early to avoid any delays.
Thanks in advance for your help!

@munta263, there's no phone support on a Sunday on the contact numbers but Chat should be available.
Always check their hours of availability, given in the following link:

Have you checked what packages are available at your new home?
Talktalk isn't necessarily always available, and where they offer a service, in some places it's still just copper ADSL [Fast Broadband package] or FTTC and not yet the Full Fibre. Or it might be only full fibre to the premises. Have you researched that using the postcode checker on the main Talktalk site?
Once you reach the Home Move team, they'll offer the option of a new contract when you move, instead of paying their £60 charge.
