On 10-10-2024 I reported my phone line not working, case no REP-14849471. It is now 15-10-2024 and my phone is still not working and I have had no updates. Please can you tell me when my phone line will be fixed? Thank you.

I've spoken to an Openreach desk agent, they've checked and confirm that the target fix date is the 31/10/24. I'm sorry this is taking so long but hopefully it will be resolved soon. I'll check back with you on Thursday.

Details of automatic compensation are here, @Greatwesternman.

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/About-your-auto-compensation-credit/ta-p/2326583

It can't be calculated until after the problem is resolved as they obviously don't yet know how many days it has to cover.

It then takes up to 30 days to show in your My Account.

Staff will respond after the weekend.

It's now 26th October and my phone line is still not working. Case ref REP-14849471 has not been updated since 10th October.

Please can I have an update as to when my phone line will be restored, and will I receive compensation for being without a landline phone for over two weeks?

Thank you.

Hi Greatwesternman,

I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing problems with your service. The latest update from Openreach (yesterday afternoon) says that traffic management has been booked for 17/10/24, so it looks as though the work is due to go ahead then.
