New digital phone service changes the time and date on my phone

This is weird and yet another problem after my upgrade to 900mbps, digital voice and Eero 6.

I have a Panasonic telephone system (3 phones) that has been 100% reliable for years. Now after my upgrade to digital voice (Grandstream) the time and date keeps changing on the phone display.

I set it and all is fine for a while then it changes to 7 November 23 and the wrong time.

Strange I know and unusual but it can't be a coincidence that this started after my upgrade.

That is exactly the problem with my Panasonic phones. It changes only when receiving a call. I've watched it!

In one way it is a good thing because I only have to look at the phone to see if I have had a call - but it shoudn't do it and I am surprised that no-one else has reported this issue.

Just to clarify my earlier post , that my BT8500 Cordless phone loses the accurate time and date after receiving calls only, NOT while after making a call. My apologies.

Just to add, I've chased the team for an update on this too.

I have exactly the same problem using my cordless BT8500 phones. through a Grandstream DVA. Worked perfectly before full fibre set up. The time and dates seem to move randomly, is their a solution?

You will have seen my posts upon this subject. Would you say that the date and time changes only when you receive a telephone call, not when making one?

I am convinced it is the Grandstream that id doing this.

To confirm, the time and date on my Panasoonic landline telephone tells the correct time and date until I receive a telephone call then both time and date shift forward approximately three months. There is no change when I make a call, only when receiving.

I have tested this many times and am firmly convinced it is the Grandstream that does this despite what Ferguson says (below).

You will notice (also below) that I am not the only one to experience this. It was perfect until I had the digiatal voice installed.

I have this problem on my BT Decor handsets.  They worked perfectly for decades and now get corrupted within hours of being set to the right date and time.  Must be caused by the Grandstream DVAs.  Can I fix this or what phones will not suffer this issue?

The date/time settings on your landline phones are set manually, not received OTA via the internet. So maybe reach out to Panasonic for advice.
