Out new fibre talk-talk WIFI all of a sudden has started completely cutting off/out when phone calls are received or made on our landline. This can happen anytime but has happened three times this week one of which when I was giving an important presentation. It was highly embarrassing. There is no reason why this happens. I need an engineer to visit to rectify the problem on the landlines/cables.

OK thanks Mark. Have you tried connecting your router and telephone to the test socket with a micro-filter, if not then could you give this a try and let us know how you get on

Hi Chris,
Thanks for response. No noise I notice on the line, just when someone rings the landline the WiFi drops out totally. This has happened a few times in last 2 weeks when I am on an important work call on MS Teams , and its very embarrassing and also annoying. It then takes a few minutes for Wifi to settle and allow me to log back on.
The only option is to send someone out to repair the external line, as online evidence suggests installing a new cable to the external telephone line is the best way to resolve it. We had the new phone socket installed by your engineer a year or so ago but still the problem remains beyond the house.
Regards
Mark

Hi Mark
Line tests are passing. Are you experiencing any problems with your telephone service (other than it causing the BB to drop), is there any noise on the line?

Yep still a problem.
We have an phone socket NTE 5C MK 4.
I need a BT phone engineer to come and sort this out please and check wires coming into the house as well. I am not willing to touch anything to do with the socket or wires.
Kind regards Mark
