Turn Off Scam Protection

Unable to turn off scam protection in service setting. Blocked access to "any desk" so I can't work from home. Please help ASAP.

Hi Hunter1109, to confirm you're the account holder can you reply to me via PM (Personal Message) with the following information: 

  • Full Name
  • Home telephone number or account number
  • Are you the account holder
  • 1st and 3rd characters of your telephone telephone enquiry password if you have one

    NOTE: If you don’t have a telephone password why not add one now check out Setting up your telephone password for details

    If password is unknown, confirm the below:
  • Your registered email address:
  • Your registered mobile phone number:

Please can you try the following steps from this article Using a VPN 

 

  1. Turn on Kids Safe  in My Account
  2. Select Choose which websites to to block and allow
  3. Add the site url and select Allow
  4. When you have added the sites select Save changes.

Hey, 

Sorry for the delayed reply, we're doing our best in these unprecedented circumstances due to the Corona virus to answer everyone as quickly as possible. I'm pleased to confirm that your now able to manage Homesafe settings yourself, from within my account, please follow the below steps to disable scam protection on your line: 

  1. Log into MyAccount
  2. Select My Services
  3. Select View HomeSafe settings
  4. Select OFF and confirm when you see the pop up window
