<span;>I'm unable to view any bbc channel normally through my aerial. When selecting these channels the 4k box selects iplayer. All other channels work normally. I've carried out a full Netgem 4k box reboot/restart and also rescanned the channels, all to no avail.

I was updating/upgrading and that's when it happened to me and no one seems to know why or be able to help. It did the change and I lost all normal channels. If I wanna watch BBC News for example; it goes straight to iplayer and then live or something and I'm totally lost right now. My channels go 1, 2, 9 (bbc ones) and then straight into higher number channels like 200 up.

Hi, did you get this sorted? I have a similar problem & now trying to set the new box up (nowhere to put the activation code) and can see that I still don't have normal channels like yourself. All I do have appears to be on iplayer, i don't have any normal channels ie: 1-70 to watch normally and it's driving me insane.

When I initially reported these problems on the forum other users were saying they had the same problem and it had been since the recent software upgrade.
However if you feel that this will resolve the fault then I'm more than happy to try anything

I'm not seeing others reporting this at the moment, and testing on my box down here in Liverpool, everything is working as it should.

No message whatsoever when pressing pause. I used to get exactly as you've described before all these issues began.
Also as previously mentioned all my channels are still not presenting correctly bbc1 Scotland now on 800. It used to be channel 1 and they all ran in regional order. Surely I can't be alone in experiencing these issues as has been seen on the forum

Testing here, timeshifting starts if I pres pause, a brief onscreen message pops up showing time shifting is starting. I can then rewind or fastforward along the timeshift period.
Do you see a message to say timeshifting is starting if you press pause, then press play to continue the channel.

I've done both power resets and also tv box resets by pressing the button 5 times and restarting the unit

When you mention you reset the box, was this via the menu or did you manually press the button on the side 5 times.

Yes, thanks again, I've reset the box numerous times and also rescanned channels many times all to no avail.

Yes thanks, that's exactly the procedure I'm talking about. I have only ever used the box that way. I had always been able to use pause and the brief rewind function and ff catch if I remained on the same channel.
All of this functionality has gone along with the totally messed up channel presentation since I first raised the issue.

Are you are pressing pause when you are on a channel to begin the time shift then pressing play? This will start the time shift and you can only rewind to the moment you pressed pause. If you press pause a recording of around 30 mins will start and you can only rewind or FF from the pause being pressed and the current time.
Apologies regarding the USB stick, it's some while since I used the box.
If you change channel you have to press pause again.
Did you try resetting the box to see if this brings it back?

I understand your point regarding rewind but previously I was always able to use pause and ff and never had a USB
