Does anyone else experience any problems with picture quality when watching BBC iPlayer and Channel 4? I haven’t noticed it on any other channels, here are my internet speeds, not sure whether it’s our television or internet speed.

Hi

So you are using an Apple TV Box connected to the TV ?

Are the settings within the BBC Iplayer app also set to best Quality ?

Is your TV a smart TV - ie.  Does it also have the Iplayer app installed on this so you can compare the quality ?

Thanks

Karl.

Within the settings on the Apple TV Streaming video quality is set to Best Quality.

Automatic updates are selected.

Our TV is a Sony Bravia 4K HDR (KD-55XF9005).  The settings within Motionflow on the TV is set to Standard.

Would it help the picture quality if we purchased an Amazon fire stick?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

Have you checked settings in each app to see if they are set to best quality?

What is your TV quality? HD or 4k?

What  make of TV do you have as some 4k TVs are not certified as such by the Apps?

If you can let us know we may be able to help.
