My tv hub remote doesn’t respond when I try to get to the settings cog on the Home Screen. No left/right, up/down on the wheel, so can’t access anything! Any suggestions?

And, of course, that is what sorted it out - powered off manually, switched back on, and hey presto, the bits that didn’t work before came to life! Is it an unwritten rule……..? It certainly isn’t in any of the instructions I saw!

Glad that you got it sorted, but you ignored the first and most important question of tech: have you tried turning it off and back on again? 😉

After much palaver I have sorted this. Seemingly had to power off the hub and reboot then miraculously avrything worked. Not as intuitive as I would have hoped but got there in the end! Sorry to have bothered you, Karl!

My last message has a note attached saying it has “failed authentication”. Can’t imagine why! Any clues?

Yes, I got the new hub - waiting for the returns bag. But I have the same problem with the new remote! No up/down or left/right movement from the remote, so I can’t get into settings to pair the remote to the set. Is this a common problem? I have re-paired the remote numerous times with no effect. No response to the guide, either, so have to enter channel number on keypad to change channel, and can’t select past programmes to watch on player or other apps. Giving up the will to live……

I see you called in recently about this, the agent advised that they will need to send a returns bag and a replacement TV Hub out, did you receive this ?
