My talktalk tv box will not load.

It turns on, says ‘loading’ & then reboots & repeats.

I have tried leaving it powered off & powering back up but it remains the same.

is there anything else I can try?

Hi

Looks like the box has reached end of life.

Your only option is to give our teams a call and discuss options for one of the new 4K TV Boxes or the TV HUB.

Thanks

Karl.

Hi, I have tried all the resets.

I had it working a couple of times but it has failed again now & just will not get past the waking up screen.

Is there anything else I can try?

Thank you,

Rob

@linkbe15 I see you have posted on 3 peoples posts moaning about the 4k box, but not started your own thread with issues you may have.

Re the box, its a commercial decision made by TalkTalk and plenty have disagreed with this decision, but as you say there are other options regarding recordable boxes. Phone the loyalty team, get the TV element removed from your contract and return the box, having bought your own.

Posting on other people's threads delays responses they may be waiting for from support staff and is seen as spamming the forum.

If you have an issue you wish addressed, please start your own thread as each case is considered unique and it is easier for support to be given to one person per thread and also less confusing.
To start your thread click the Browse button, then Help With Your Service and select the appropriate category. You will then see a Blue Button "Start A Topic"

Thank you

"Please note that if you are eligible for a new box, TalkTalk now only supply non-recordable ones., So it's best to try all alternatives if recording is important to you."

What is the point of that...?! For many of us the recording facility is all we are interested in. We can watch anything else on our smart TVs.

I have just been sent a new 4k box -- but now find I have to pay for a USB drive minimum 128GB and an aerial splitter. And it only records ONE channel at a time.

This not a replacement for the DN372T

No point me continuing with TT as I can purchase a cheap duel channel DVR and move to another supplier.

It sounds like your hard drive has failed.

Try a YouView Maintenance Reset (https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/How-to-find-maintenance-mode/ta-p/1429347)?

Try the Factory Reset keep recording option.

You will then need to reset your personal settings (such as parental controls / Set antenna Out to On in Settings: Picture and Sound / Surround Sound etc.) and also reset your scheduled recordings.

If all else fails then try a full factory reset lose recordings. You will lose your recordings but you may be asked to do this before the Support Staff look at other alternatives.

Please note that if you are eligible for a new box, TalkTalk now only supply non-recordable ones., So it's best to try all alternatives if recording is important to you.

Hope it works and please let us know how you get on.
