We have a Huawei youview box that has suddenly stopped recording, it was certain channels now none will record and previous recordings won't play either even ones we've already watched. Done a soft reset and a factory reset but it's still the same. Software is up to date but app update just says 'cannot update'
Any advice?

if a factory reset has not resolved this, then the box may have failed.
TalkTalk stopped providing these boxes over 2 years ago and so the box cannot be replaced.
You can give our customer teams a call to see if you are eligible for the new 4K tv box however you may need to renew the contract and have TalkTalk entertainment added to your package.
