I have subtitles on all channels except BBC I player and 5 app both screens say subtitles on but they  are not

Hi

 

Subtitles within each app is down to the broadcaster who maintains the app.

 

Some apps, such as 5, do not always show subtitles if you press the button on the remote, and you have to go to the settings option whilst watching the program and manually tuen subtitles on.
