50% discount on UK Calls boost not being applied

I recently renewed my Full Fibre package for a further 18 months at a rate of £40.00 per month (£32 + £8 UK Calls Boost(discounted from £16). When I receive my first bill, the boost has only a £1.32 discount.

I raised this question with Talk Talk support (via email/messaging) twice, but they have been unable to explain a) that the bill is correct b) that the 50% discount will be correctly applied for future months.  

I would expect this to be a simple matter, but I'm struggling to get an answer
