CAN'T REGISTER AFTER MIGRATION FROM SHELL AS I HAVE AN OLD TALKTALK ACCOUNT

I received an email saying my Shell Broadband account has been migrated to TalkTalk.

 

However, when I try to log in to my TalkTalk account, I see my old TalkTalk account from 2022, and I don't see my current broadband account has been migrated over from Shell Broadband.

 

This means I cannot access my bills or manage my account.

 

Please can someone assist. Thank you.

THANK YOU for mentioning this.

 

Like yours, my account was set to "paper billing" for a £2.75 fee even though I didn't ask for this, or receive a paper bill.

 

I've changed it to paperless now, and I owe you a drink next time I see you. Thanks!

Hello

 

I had the same issue a few weeks ago, and it was sorted by the wonderful Arne.  However I have just received a paper bill I didn't want at a charge of £2.75 even though June bill was electronic as My Shell bills were.  Perhaps reseting the account to my 4 year old TT account caused this, so it will be worth you logging into MyAccount and checking your preferences.

Thanks for doing whatever you needed to do at your end - I have now been able to register for a new TalkTalk account and managed to access my bills. Thank you.

This is easily resolved once staff reach your thread, @bigblockofcheese.

 

They just need to remove the old details. Once it's done you can register afresh.

 

They respond during the day, Monday to Friday. Your post is in a queue for attention.
