I used to be a TalkTalk customer then I switched to Shell Broadband when my contract was up. A few months later Shell Broadband exited the home broadband market and all their customers were transferred to TalkTalk. I am unable to log in to my new TalkTalk account, as transferred from Shell, as my old account (the one I'm using here) is still active. Any attempt to register just leads to "this email is already registered" and password reset options.
I'd be grateful for assistance in this matter

Usually Arne just removes the old details and then you can register afresh, @Eddie209.
