Hi guys,
I wanted to ask if you have any idea of how long it'd take for the final bill post-disconnect to be issued?
I sent my termination request on the 24th of January, I returned my router shortly after (context https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Broadband/Router-Return-Bag-Still-Not-Received/m-p/3097128) and I can see that my line number has been disconnected for a few days now, however I still haven't received the final bill, nor any payments have been made via the direct debit on my bank account.
When I notified your team of my termination request, they told me to leave the Direct Debit as-is and the final bill will be charged using that method, however it has now been 30+ days since the termination request and I still don't have the bill; this is blocking me from closing out my bank account as it's the last bill pending.

yes as long as the payment is made once the bill is produced.

In that case, can I cancel the direct debit and close my bank account and make the payment via card once the bill is ready? I'm incurring unnecessary fees by keeping the bank account open only for this.

Thanks for the reply! Could you please clarify why the final bill will be issued nearly a month after my service has been terminated and not immediately after the termination period has passed? This is very inconvenient as I need to retain a whole bank account in the UK solely for a single bill.

You will receive a Bill on the 17th March.
