Home phone number has been used by scammers using my number. Will I have to pay for their calls?

People have let me know my home phone number has been used by people demanding money - it has been spoofed. What can I do? Will I have to pay for those calls?

Name

Telephone number or account number.

Add your Talktalk landline number to your community forum profile details for TT staff to identify your account, @Christine12.

 

Go via your avatar/name; settings; Personal Information. SAVE CHANGES. 

 

I'll move this to the billing section for staff to check what is going on. 

 

However if the number is spoofed, it's not the same as the call being made using your landline. 

 

Check back later in the week for a response from staff.
