Increased charge being switched from Shell to TalkTalk

Shell switched my a/c to TalkTalk with the promise of no additional charges.

On the 7th of each month my fee was £33.03

Talk Talk took £48.72 on the 9th for the first debit and then returned to £33.03 for the next.  

Why did the '2 day difference between the 7th & the 9th' payment cose me and additional £15.69? (+68%).

Hi Lynder

 

The additional charges are the pro rata charges from day you started upto your first billing date,  and then the advance charge for the month. 

 

I can see that a credit has been raised by our customer service.
