Price Increase Email

I received an email today saying that   "in line with your terms and conditions, the price you pay each month will increase by the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) rate of inflation +3.7%. This means that from 23rd April 2025 your package will go up by £1.43 a month".

I'm on a fixed price plus contract that doesn't end until June so why am I getting this email?

I used the online chat and the agent I spoke to agreed that I was on a fixed price plus contract and said "there's no need to worry as the notification is sent to all our customers and you can ignore the email as you are on a rationalisation package"

Is that correct that all customers got the email and can I just ignore it?

Thanks.

Hi garytastic

You are on fixed price plus and in contract so there is no rise, But I suspect the email was sent as your contract ends in June 25.

I believe so, did you read all the way through the email, rather than the shocking headline news?

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.
