I gave 30 days notice on 22nd August'24, informing I was terminating services as my contract ended on 22nd Sept,24.
However, TalkTalk state my new supplier havent contacted Talk Talk, so effectively I am still being charged for phone line and rental. All emails fron TalkTalk are No Reply and my account doesnt recognise my email address or any passwords inputted. I have paid upto my leaving date of 22nd Sept, but TalkTalk are requesting payment for November and threatening a £12 late payment charge also. How can this be resolved?

It looks like the cancellation request failed, I have asked for the cancellation to be placed again to close the account ASAP.

How did you go about notifying Talktalk?
Which supplier have you moved to, @bernadette56, as they don't all use One Touch Switch yet, and that only became active on 12th September as an option. Between ordinary FTTC there was already a switching system but read the advice here:

Talktalk will have been billing a full 30 day cycle on your billing cycle and it doesn't simply match end of contract dates.
Moving this to the billing section for you, but a warning that staff won't now be back on here before Monday.
