Hi gable

We sent you an Email about the annual price rise in March advising you of a £1.85 (CPI +3.7%)  rise.

Only customers who are on fixed price plus are exempt for the price rise.

Regards

Are you on Fixed Price Plus, @gable ?

Otherwise it's only the duration of the minimum term that is actually fixed. The Ts&Cs (linked at the foot of the page) and the small print at the foot of offers to new customers on the main website detail this.

You would also have received an email in March, ahead of the April price increase. Talktalk adds 3.7% to the CPI total quoted. Other companies add 3.9% over and above CPI. Mobile phone operators usually do this too.

It's become the norm, to subsidise the massive "upgrade" of the infrastructure, pushed forward by government policy.
