Hi, I’m looking to move my mum over to BT, her current contract ends on 4th March 2023. When can I initiate the move with BT, do I need to wait until that date, or as I’m within a month can I do it now without penalty. Thanks

There is no cancellation fee in the last 30 days,  once the transfer request is received a returns bag will be sent.

@Arne-TalkTalk Thanks for the quick response, so that would be penalty free. Will TalkTalk send the packaging for the box and router to be sent back?

If your mum is within the last 30 days of the contract BT can request the line now.
