Thanks for the suggestions folks (and verification of the issue) - very kind. I've now managed to download the bills using a different PC. Yes, some of my FF browsers are set to private mode.

I suspect that talktalk's programmers have simply tried to be clever, using some of the later and ever-changing web specs. The trouble is that being clever with software is often stupid - what is needed is software that works everywhere, not software that other programmers might admire.

Anyway, I'll try to remember for next time.

Still no comments from talktalk themselves I see. Sigh 😉

If you are using Firefox check if you have set Private Browsing mode. I've had the same problem for days and clearing the cache etc makes no difference for me but turning Private Browsing off let me access my bills. Why this is a problem I don't know because I've been able to see my bills for as long as I've been with TalkTalk.

Hi @drking

I have been looking into this issue & can replicate it on Windows 10 & Chrome, but not Windows 11 & Chrome.

What I did find that worked was either MS Edge or Firefox. Please can you try these & let me know how you get on?

Hi drking

Have you tried clearing cookie and cache?

Have you tested this in a different browser?

Thank you - that was the page I checked before.

I guess I have to accept that talktalk website just doesn't work sometimes. I've forgotten what settings this browser has, but to have to adjust them for a single website (when every other website works OK)  shows that the people who wrote talktalk website software are incompetent I think.

I have tried on another PC btw. Probably I just have to wait for another week and hope. Sigh.

Thankyou for replying - I notice talktalk themselves seem disinterested...

You can check for maintenance notices here, @drking:

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Service-Status-Dashboard/bd-p/service

It's always to be found listed on the community menu.

Other than that, clearing History/ cookies, allowing pop ups, disabling ad blockers, or starting all over with another browser are all the routine processes to try.

no idea, can't recall. I'm just used to talktalk having tech issues. hence the sigh

there was no maintenance on the list yesterday

maybe there is another page that tells me about website maintenance - looks like it was hidden away somewhere last time I had trouble
