2.4G Wifi Signal Dropping Out

Hi,

I am experiencing issues with Wifi (Sagemcom Fast 5364). There appears to be no problem with 5g only 2.4g (Channel 1). I have tried changing the channel but I believe it defaults back to channel 1 because Wifi optimisation is switched on (reading other community members  comments).

 

When I reboot the router 2.4g works ok for 1 - 2 days max then I have to reboot etc.

Is it possible to switch Wifi optimisation off so I can try another channel (If this is the issue).

Hi, I have not had any issues so far after switching wifi optimisation off.

I have not rebooted the router or changed the channel (still channel 1).
