SAGEMCOM FAST 5364-3.T8 FIRMWARE UPDATE REQUEST
I recently have had a lot of issues with this router. It breaks at least twice a day. Can you please upgrade the router to see if it performs better?

Hi
We do advise that the router is left on at all times as turning the router off a lot can trigger the automatic monitoring systems and slow the line down if it thinks it is dropping the connection.

Hi, dear Talktalk technical support engneers,
I have now received the new router. After I plugged it in, it seems to work ok. So I think I am OK now.
Do you have any advice for me?
Do I need to leave the router turned ON all the time? So the Talktalk may upgrade it whenever necessary?
I still don't understand how Talktalk customer service work. I called the customer service telephone, a madam helped me very well and offered this replacement. In the future, which support channel should I use, telephone or this community? It looks to me this community is also helpful and responsive.

Could you post the last 4 digits of the router serial number, it will be on the label on the back of the router

Make sure that the Sagemcom is plugged in and switched on now, @Peter888. Staff are not on here overnight, but they do start before most of us have our breakfast in the morning, so if you have it running, staff will be able to start checking it for you etc.

The faulty router flashes amber and never ends. The specifics are in the original my message.
I luckily have a backup router but this one works at a slow speed.
